How to get Encoders in User Modes to send Relative value? 

I'm trying to make my op-1 ready for live performance, so I want to combine this + Selected Track Control to have contextual working knobs/instant mappings.

It appears the 1-4 encoders are sending Relative value in Mix mode, but in User Mode, they send Absolute.
Can someone help me figure out how to get them working in Relative mode?
