FR: Shorten (or eliminate) "Article archived" popup alert

Is the delay when the modal "Article archived" alert pops up necessary or cosmetic? I would much prefer to have no alert and just go back to the article list (or next article) after archiving an article. Alternatively, is it possible to configure how long that alert stays up? Or make it dismiss-able with a tap?

It's just cosmetic/informative. Agree it should be dismissible (ideally all these dialogues would be non-modal but I would probably need to create a new UI control for this).

I commented out the popup and it worked fine for my purposes.

Query whether you actually need to tell the user that a requested action worked. It makes 100% sense to have a popup if there was an error, but if there is no error, isn't it reasonable for the user to assume the action they requested actually happened and no additional feedback is needed?

It would also be nice to have "archive and go to next article" as an option. But I could also see it as making the interface too busy to have both "archive" and "archive/next" as two different buttons, so perhaps you want a setting that makes "archive/next" an optional default behavior when archiving.
