Feature request: Immediate update visualization in three scenarios

There are two scenarios where it would be nice if the overlay immediately updated:

1. When toggling the hover-over visualizer. This would let me easily turn on the pipe visualizer when hovering over a building to understand it. Currently the visualization only take effect when the hover selection changes, so if I'm hovering over a building when I activate the visualizer I have to move my cursor away then back to see the visualization.
2. Similarly, it would be nice to immediately remove the current visualization when the hover-over visualization is toggled into the disabled state.
3. When the full visualizer is active, it would be nice to redraw the visualization immediately when a new building or pipe is placed.

Live entity updates were planned for 2.0 but were postponed because it was taking too long.

also about visualisation, could you make the overlay for machines nicer. i think it would be cool as a frame like when you select a machine just more thick and colored
