Instead of using the node-minecraft-ping module, you could use api.mcsrvstat.us. The documentation is at api.mcsrvstat.us. It has a lot of features, and you just need to ping the address found in the documentation. This will fix some issues like Bedrock servers not being supported and player lists. You could display loads of information using this api.

Thanks again for paying attention and taking a minute to post. I'm still slammed with home stuff, family, etc., and this probably won't get much attention for a while. I'm happy to talk thru things over regular email and if you want to propose any pull requests, let's do it! Is there something I can do quickly, or help with a fork of this repo if you want to play around for a while?
