HandleOnlyWindow AutoCMD error on file close

I believe this is a tagbar issue but I can't file new issues with that repo because it's forked.

The issues I'm seeing are

• when a file opens the git color highlighting is acting as though everything in the file is new code so the background color is more of a light grey than the dark black it normally is.
• upon :q file close there are some errors posted to the bottom of vim and after hitting enter 1-2 times I am forced to close :q each panel individually ... so I need 3 :q commands to fully close vim after being opened.

The attached image shows the error ... let me know if I can collect more information or help in anyway.
