• Justification (why is this term necessary?): many interaction records are documented as an aggregation of multiple visits. The actual model does not allow multiple visits to be recorded in the same interaction, and so, the visits have to be split into multiple interactions, since the model treats one interaction as one visit. The addition of this term should allow the interactions to be documented considering any number of visits (>0?) and together with dwc:organismQuantity it will allows interactions to contains multiple visits from multiple individuals.

Proposed attributes of the new term:

• Proposed definition of the new term: A number or enumeration value for the quantity of visits which are recorded for the interaction
• Term name (in lowerCamelCase): numberOfVisits
• Comment (recommendations regarding content, etc.): It is also recommended to provided values for availableFlowerQuantity and dwc:organismQuantity.
