Idea: Manual "Connect to VS Code" button in browser extension popup

Problem:
The Gemini Coder browser extension doesn't automatically establish a connection with VS Code if VS Code is opened after the browser (which already has the extension active). In this scenario, establishing the connection often requires restarting the entire browser. This is inconvenient, especially when managing multiple important tabs.

Suggestion:

1. Add a dedicated "Connect to VS Code" button within the browser extension's popup UI.
2. This button would allow users to manually initiate the connection attempt from the browser extension side at any time, without needing a browser restart.
   

Benefit:
Provides a user-initiated way to connect the extension to VS Code directly from the extension's interface, eliminating the need for a disruptive browser restart when VS Code is launched after the browser.

This manual connection button could also resolve issues where launching the AI Studio tab from the VS Code extension sometimes results in "Internal error" or "No permissions" errors within AI Studio. By providing a way to manually activate the connection from the already opened AI Studio tab in the browser, users could potentially bypass these launch-related errors and establish a working connection.

Unfortunately, I'm unable to reproduce it. What's your browser and operating system? Can you open extension's console and see what is logged?

These are errors on their end. And as I can't reliably reproduce them, trying to come up with any fix is difficult...
