knit to html dropdown not appearing for Flexdashboard

I have been using flexdashboard to create a dashboard for the past year or so, and starting in October 2024, the knit to html dropdown does not appear anymore. If I change the output to html_document, I lose the flexdashboard formatting. It will allow me to knit it to a flex_dashboard, but I can't save it as an html while keeping the same format. I have done this for over a year and all of a sudden the drop down to knit to html is gone. Is there a way that I can keep the flexdashboard formatting and publish my dashboard as a html file?
