The signals reflected and transmitted by the analyzer give rise to two separate spots on the detector. These two spots are reduced independently and with the same approach by defining two different regions of interest. We might have to consider whether the longer beam path of the reflected beam has a significant effect on the TOF calculations, it is unlikely given the small difference and below wavelength resolution anyway. Other than that the reduction is equivalent for the two reflectivities
