Of all my ideas I think this has the most quality of life potential for future users. A display on the mappings page that shows the user the current mapping for a button they are pressing on their controller. This would allow users to identify the current settings in real time allowing for greater ease of use over the large variety of compatible controllers.
Most AAA/ huge tech companies follow the same basic layout for controllers but for something like an xbox adaptive controller, or a retro BLE controller where the layout is significantly different this would allow users to see what the buttons are mapped as and change them as they see fit.
Great work as always Stephen and no rush or timeline on this idea just logging so I don't forget about it.
