Unable to read a Headscale configuration file

I tried to start a container with headscale but always get this error:
ERROR: Unable to read a Headscale configuration file at /etc/headscale/config.yaml

This is the part from my docker-compose file:

    volumes:
      - /path/to/etc/headplane/config.yaml:/etc/headplane/config.yaml
      - /path/to/var/lib/headplane:/var/lib/headplane

I double check that my config.yaml is in this directory. What is going wrong here?

What could be the reason that the file is found but connot be read? I recreated the file alrey three times, but the error does not go away.

My fault: I mixed up the paths for the headplane and the headscale configs.
