Description
After a certain number of retries, maybe equivalent to 10-30 minutes, the device itself should restart just as a failsafe. (See also the "web server stops working" ticket.) Sometimes a full reset is what you need, and the device's inability to connect might be causing it to constantly reset an otherwise working connection.
This implies that the current stats should be stored somewhere because we don't want to lose the history. Does the ESP8266 internal storage have wear leveling, or will this destroy the internal storage?
