Why are call, sfml, ctgui and TGUI libs missing from runtimes folder?

I get 183 errors building code on macOS vscode dotnet 9/10p5.

Should I copy those from hombrew install?

V1.10.0 and 1.8.0rc1

I've never tested this on macOS, but everything needed should have been included.

• SFML and CSFML are pulled via the SFML.Net dependency, they are not part of the TGUI.Net nuget
• The TGUI c++ libs aren't needed, the code is statically linked inside the CTGUI library
• As far as I can tell the NuGet correctly contains a libctgui.dylib file

If it's not working then I'm guessing there is something wrong with the libctgui.dylib file (because it works on Windows with only a ctgui.dll or on Linux with only libctgui.so). No other files should be needed, so copying the dependencies from homebrew unfortunately won't be a solution.

I don't have an ARM64 mac, but I will try to see if I can reproduce the issue with the osx-x64 version using an emulated mac on VWMare.

Could you also post some examples of the exact errors you are getting?

Are you trying to build the login_screen example project?
Apparently the example project is broken because it builds the TGUI.Net code locally and it doesn't have a reference to CTGUI. This is useful for me for debugging, but essentially useless for everyone else, so I'll update it soon.

If I update <ProjectReference Include="../../src/tgui.csproj" /> to <PackageReference Include="TGUI.Net" Version="1.10.0" /> in the login_screen.csproj file then the code runs fine (at least on osx-x64).

I can't reproduce this on Windows either.
How is TGUI.Net added to your project? Via <PackageReference Include="TGUI.Net" Version="1.10.0" />?

win-arm64 runtime is missing in the CSFML NuGet so I can't support it in TGUI.Net until the runtime is added in CSFML first

Yes via nuget pkg ref, but it seems that other things are missing arm64 dlls too. No I am trying to build my own code.

Dulins not loading could you either statically link all deps in c TGUI.dylib. I have both call and sfml installed on M1 native and in Rosetta 2 via homebrew and libs can't be loaded.

libctgui.dylib does link statically to TGUI, that's why I don't understand why it isn't working for you.
Your project should depend on SFML.Net as well which will contain CSFML and SFML dylib files, so they would be included even if sfml isn't installed via homebrew.

• Which files do you have in your bin/Debug/net9.0/runtimes/osx-x64/native/ folder?
• What errors do you get exactly?

It looks more of an issue with SFML.Net and less about TGUI.Net

Could you try replacing the package reference in your project with <PackageReference Include="SFML.Net" Version="2.6.1" /> and testing with the example code below:

How do I get the right libraries to load?

Dyld library not loaded

You can ignore most of those dyld errors.
When it can't find a file, it tries to search for it in many different places, each time printing the "no such file" and "no such file, not in dyld cache" error. So most of these lines don't matter, but it does mean that some file isn't found. It seems to have issues with finding FreeType.

Please try what I suggested in my last message. If the issue lies in SFML.Net then I can't help you and you will have to ask the SFML team about this. So we need to figure out if the issue lies with SFML.Net or with TGUI.Net first.

The NuGet package is missing arm64 ctgui.dll. On Windows arm

I added the path to my program dir to dyld paths and updated cache three times.

arm64 is not supported on Windows.
TGUI.Net depends on SFML.Net which depends on CSFML.
CSFML does not support arm64 on Windows.
