Most relevant search result missing: result only shown in the popup, not on the results page #346
Description
Summary
I searched for an addon and couldn't find because it didn't appear in the search results (but it was the first item in the preview popup).
Introduction
When a search term is entered into the search bar at this url there are is a popup which shows some results. After pressing enter the popup dissappears and a page with search results will load.
What I observed
When searching for "Mail Merge" the popup shows the plugin as the first result. But the plugin is not shown on the results page.
How did this affect me?
In my case I typed the words and confirmed with enter without looking at the popup. After that I looked through the search results but couldn't find the relevant entry. I thought maybe the plugin didn't exist anymore.
Questions
- Are the results shown in the popup and the results page suppesed to be different?
- If yes how come the most relevant item does not show up in the results page?
Expectations
I would expect to see all the results which appear in the preview popup in the results page as well.
