Description
It looks to me like BCE fall preview AWS AMI (at least the one I grabbed a couple of weeks ago...!) has an older version of the virtual network driver that makes the most of AWS networking. BCE has 2.12.1...

filename: /lib/modules/3.19.0-30-generic/kernel/drivers/net/ethernet/intel/ixgbevf/ixgbevf.ko
version: 2.12.1-k
...whereas Amazon recommends 2.14.2:

Now, I don't know what I'm missing with the non-optimal version, and it's not a known roadblock for me, but I thought I'd send the heads-up in case folks want to bump this to a newer version for the final fall BCE, if it's reasonably possible.
Thanks!
