My morning prompt (repro'd for me this morning after starting d3k last night)

Some users have reported high cpu usage of dev3000 see #90 and I just woke up after leaving dev3000 running
all night and sure enough it's consuming 95% cpu but hasn't been "doing" anything - can you investigate my machine, find a root cause, and suggest a fix
or just make one?

  - Set targetFps: 20 and maxFps: 30 in src/tui-interface-opentui.ts.

  This should drop idle CPU dramatically while still feeling smooth.

  Ran:

  - bun run lint
  - bun run typecheck
  - bun run canary → installed 0.0.162-canary

  Please test with:

  d3k --version   # should be 0.0.162-canary

  Then leave it idle and see if CPU stays low.

  If CPU still spikes, I’ll take a perf sample again and we’ll go deeper (e.g., interaction polling or log watcher behavior).```

I'm still seeing a similar issue on latest. Note that this isn't happening in long running sessions just seems to be any session I run!

@jhwz what agent are you running? How are you starting dev3000? can you double-check and show me your version?

anything I can do to repro will help me guide an agent to debug/fix - I left codex inside d3k running all night and woke up to nothing out of whack in Activity Monitor.

I noticed this more often? before when I was using only claude. relatedly: anthropics/claude-code#17148 (comment)
