Make the DMX Mode "effect" a realtime mode

I am Using WLED with Wired DMX input to control LED Strips in a Club Environment.

I'm currently using the "Preset" Mode to trigger different Effects. I can not use the "effect" Mode, as its not a realtime mode and is therefore really laggy when controlling brightness or doing a blackout.

It would be really nice if the "effect" mode was as responsive as the "preset" mode.

No, its set to 0. The Official Documentation (https://kno.wled.ge/interfaces/e1.31-dmx/#effect) states that the "effect" mode is "Not a realtime mode & only support 1 universe.". I think "not a realtime mode" means that the Inputs from DMX are not processed in realime. Because of this, changing the Brightness via dmx is not smooth.

So realtime is where WLED flips from being an effect generator and output to just a "pixel pusher" where realtime protocols like ArtNet, DMX, DDP etc are being used to send what the value of each pixel should be right now

If transition time is set to 0, but you are still seeing a transition time between effects or slow fade when changing brightness, that's a bug
