What is this feature for?

Especially network printers may not live in the same room where your computer lives or they are not directly connected with your PC anyhow.

So if you want to scan a document its very useful when the document is stored on your computer anyway.

What does this tool do?

This tool connects your scanner with your PC.

NOTE: Assumed your HP-MFP device is correct configured on your box with the sane backend.

When you are using the Scan to Folder feature, all the images are stored in a folder on your computer. The images will have all the same name with a number extension e.g. my-scanns_[1 .. n].png.

After scanning is finished you can start an OCR-Process which will create searchable a PDF-Document from your scanned images.
