Getting rid of the
ref_count, so that we can do #773 , but in doing so we also needed to solve lifetime of animations nodes. One way of handling that is by using the Elements infra, which normally is used for UI, but which can be used to produce any arbitrary entity tree. Not sure yet if this is the final solution, but seems to work ok.
