Using Stat Tracker
Once logged in, Stat Tracker contains three different screens: Dashboard, Submit Stats, and Leaderboards.
The Dashboard is your personal view into your stats.
The Submit Stats screen is how you upload your stats to Stat Tracker. You can submit your stats manually, or upload a screenshot of your agent profile.
The leaderboards show you how you compare to the other members of your local group. Your agent name is highlighted.
The weekly leaderboards in Stat Tracker are not a rolling 7 days, like they are in the Ingress app. They use a standard calendar week, which begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. Every Monday, the "This Week" leaderboard resets.
In a nutshell, an agent's submission on Sunday becomes "0" for the following week. That is, if an agent has 8,675,309 AP on Sunday, and 8,675,500 AP on Monday, we take the difference of those to determine what the value is for the weekly leaderboard:
Monday Sunday Weekly gain
8,675,500 minus 8,675,309 equals 191
When Tuesday comes around, and the agent submits again, they now have 8,675,800 AP
Tuesday Sunday Weekly gain
8,675,800 minus 8,675,309 equals 491
This process repeats for each day in the week. The total on the Sunday of the previous week is always subtracted from the agent's last submission this week.
For whatever reason, some agents cannot submit every day. Since the Sunday submission is incredibly important to the weekly leaderboard, Stat Tracker will attempt to guess what an agent's stats would have been on that day if they did not submit.
This guessing process is incredibly straight forward. Stat Tracker already calculates a "daily rate" for each stat. This rate is the "expected increase" in a stat for each day. So, Stat Tracker will go back and find that last time that an agent submitted before Sunday, determine how many days are between that date and Sunday, and add that daily rate to the value from the last submission for each day until it gets to Sunday.
Here is an example:
- Today is Monday
- Agent X did not submit to Stat Tracker on Sunday
- Agent X last submitted to Stat Tracker on Friday. He had 10,000 resonators deployed
- Agent X deploys resonators at a daily rate of 100
Since two days have passed between when Agent X last submitted (Friday) and Today (Monday), Stat Tracker assumes that Agent X deployed 100 resonators on Saturday, and 100 resonators on Sunday. Stat Tracker adds those assumptions to Agent X's last submission of 10,000 for a guesstimate of 10,200 deploys on Sunday.
