Melodii is a Nintendo-inspired audio player built for Android handhelds with dual displays. Designed with handheld devices like the AYN Thor in mind, Melodii separates functional aspects and informational aspects across two screens, similar to the UI philosophy used on systems like the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
"I started this project inspired by how familiar the AYN Thor felt to me as a 3DS owner and enjoyer. It made me want to make my experience even more similar to the original 3DS experience while still remaining modern and open. the iiSU Frontend helped me a lot in achieving my goal, but as of now, it's just a nice UI. I want to bring back the experience of more specific software found on the 3DS such as Nintendo 3DS Sound and StreetPass. "
The bottom screen serves as a functional interface, providing playback controls, file navigation, and menus, while the top screen displays visual information such as album art, track details, and playback visuals.

Melodii is an attempt to recreate the whimsical, and tactile feel of classic Nintendo apps while making use of Android's flexibility.
Nothing so far, the project is still in very early development but check back later!
