The application failed to start due to a dependency mismatch where react-scripts@5 expects ajv@6, but a newer AJV version was installed. This caused the module ajv/dist/compile/codegen to be missing and Webpack to crash at startup. The issue was fixed by aligning AJV and ajv-keywords versions with react-scripts requirements.
