Overview
This PR upgrades Hydragon EVM from the London hard fork to support the Paris and Shanghai hard forks, implementing the relevant EIPs while ensuring full compatibility with the PolyBFT consensus mechanism.
Changes
Paris Hard Fork Support
EIP-4399 – PREVRANDAO Replacement
Updated the DIFFICULTY opcode to return the previous block hash (RANDAO) as per EIP-4399.
Shanghai Hard Fork Support
EIP-3855 – PUSH0 Instruction
Added support for the new PUSH0 (0x5F) opcode which pushes a 0 value onto the stack.
EIP-3860 – Initcode Limit & Metering
Enforced 48KB size limit on initcode.
Applied gas metering of 2 gas per 32-byte word for initcode length.
EIP-3651 – Warm COINBASE
Reduced the gas cost of accessing COINBASE from 2600 to 100, marking it as warm from the beginning of execution.
