Return cache mode as integer
Added cache mode expiry time. Cache mode is integer with <0 off, 0 infinite cache, >0 store cache for x seconds.

Support for cache mode expiry time. Added private helper method to determine if cache update is necessary and class property storing time of latest cache update.
