Problem Statement

"Up and coming artists need a platform that supports engagement, and discovery, enabling artists and fans to build a direct connection for listening, feedback and contribution."

Solution

Our solution is a Tinder-swipe style application that presents random music from up and coming artists to music lovers. Users are given the option to either click on an "❌" or a "💜". Clicking the "💜" adds the song to the user's liked section for future listening. Each "💜" received by an artist is tallied, fostering competition among artists to garner swipes. Artists with the highest number of swipes over daily, weekly, and yearly periods are featured on leaderboards, which continually update and enhance competitiveness, providing additional exposure for artists.

Live Streaming	Bringing the electric, passionate atmosphere of concert going live to you from the comfort of your home
Contributions	Using thrid party finantial systems like paypal to support the artist
Spotlight	Recognition for being one of the first few people to discover new up and coming artists
User Tailored Algorithm(s)	For Users: A system that adjusts your discovry page to expose you to artists that fit your tastes For Artists: A system to distribute their music to people who are more likley to enjoy it
