Measurement and Computation of Fire Phenomena

The Measurement and Computation of Fire Phenomena (MaCFP) Working Group

Guidelines for participation in MaCFP-4 have been prepared. On March 28, 2025, these guidelines were shared in a virtual meeting designed to coordinate (1) the experimental component of the MaCFP-4 Pyrolysis Model Calibration exercise and (2) the modeling component of the MaCFP-4 Radiation Heat Transfer exercise.

Presentation slides, a recording of this meeting (inlcuding discussions at the end), and the Guidelines document are available on the MaCFP-4 Releases Page.

An overview of how experimentalists and modelers can contribute to the MaCFP Pyrolysis Model Calibration Exercise (Target: Wood) is available on the matl-db Wiki.
