Good to go from my point of view once pyFV3 and pySHiELD submodules have been updated to latest develop (to bring pyFV3 and pySHiELD versions that support NDSL 2026.02.00).
This propagates the breaking changes from NDSL 2026.02.00

ndsl.BackendobjectX/Y/Z_DIMtoI/J/K_DIMMerging this PR depends on merging NOAA-GFDL/pyFV3#120 and NOAA-GFDL/pySHiELD#88 first to get a version of pyFV3 and pySHiELD that are supporting NDSL version 2026.02.00.
