### Top up a Validator

You can add funds to your validator if it's below the max effective balance (32 ACE for standard accounts, 2048 ACE for Type 2 compounding accounts) or approaching the ejection threshold of 16 ACE. Topping up increases your effective balance, which directly affects rewards and penalties.
