Scoreboard

The Scoreboard is ROOTMAP's fundamental spatial structure. It describes a 3D rectangular prism, divided up into cells by a flexible grid system. Scoreboard layers are not necessarily regular, which means that the model can use smaller Scoreboard cells in areas of the model where more granular recording of Characteristics is required, and use larger cells in less important areas to improve performance.
