This is the first public draft of the Autonomous License Compact, a framework designed to solve the "Chain of Liability" problem for autonomous AI agents.
What is included:
- The Framework: Full definitions of the "Fleet & Driver" licensing tiers (Apprentice vs. Principal Operator).
- The Technical Spec: Proposal for "OCSP for Agents" (Online Certificate Status Protocol) to handle real-time license revocation at the API Gateway.
- The Economic Model: "The Grand Bargain" structure for liability insurance and safe harbor.
Contribution Goal:
We are specifically looking for Pull Requests (PRs) or Issues regarding:
- Edge cases in the
403 Forbiddenkill-switch logic. - Authentication flows for "Zero-Knowledge" identity verification.
- Refinements to the Corporate vs. Individual liability boundaries.
Observe what is. Reason about what it implies. Act accordingly.
