  • Refactored to use xarray for inputs/outputs/backend

To-do before merge:

  • Finish rewriting tests in DataAssimBench
  • Fix reservoir computing example

Fixed remaining issues, ready for review. Also added new notebooks:

  • Example that steps through progressively more complex ETKF DA experiments (L63 -> sqgturb).
  • Notebook that documents progress made so far using dinosaur (work in progress).
  • Example of simulation weather balloon and satellite observations.
