The serial monitor functionality was causing the extension to crash. This commit disables it by commenting out the relevant code and updating the activation events and enablement conditions. Additionally, the VSCode dependency was updated to ^1.75.0, and the extension package size was reduced by moving GIFs and images to GitHub-hosted links in the README.
Refactor the build script command in the GitHub workflow to use `npm run build` instead of `npx tsc` for consistency with the project's build process. Also, update CHANGELOG.md to reflect recent changes and improve documentation clarity.
