👋 Hi there, I am Tavan Thiry

I am a Web Developer and UX/UI Designer with a passion for creating intuitive, accessible, and user-centered digital experiences. I enjoy writing clean, maintainable code and continuously look for ways to optimize frontend performance.


🌱 I’m currently learning:

  • State management with Zustand and React useContext API
  • React and Global State Management (props and components, react state and controlled forms, lifecycle and hooks)
  • Backend Development with Node.js (Express.js, MongoDB, Mongoose, Authentication and Secure Endpoints)

💡 I’ve worked on:

  • A lightweight task management app built with React and Zustand for global state management
  • A happy-thoughts app with live message posting and liking messages. Built with React and Hooks, and an external API
  • A personal portfolio site showcasing projects and skills, built with React and styled-components
  • An interactive web accessibility quiz designed to raise awareness of accessibility through playful learning
  • A weather application that fetches real-time weather data from an external API
