avrsetup is used to initialize a new chip, to set its "fuses". It's a shell script which essentially calls avrdude with preselected options.
avrdude -qq -c gpio -p t85 -U efuse:w:0xFF:m -U lfuse:w:0xE2:m -U hfuse:w:0xD9:m
