An Archipelago (AP) randomizer client for Resident Evil 2 Remake. Designed for use with the RE2R Archipelago world repository (linked in the setup guide below).

All 4 scenarios (Leon and Claire, A/B or 1st/2nd scenarios) are all supported.
All 3 difficulties (Assisted, Standard, and Hardcore) are all supported.
- Only use the typewriter teleport feature to revisit areas that you've reached normally. Otherwise, you may hardlock your game.
- Don't use the typewriter teleport feature to leave boss fights or skip cutscenes. This will also hardlock your game.
- Don't switch save files while playing the same seed.
- Save often. Save after boss fights.
If you have feedback or questions about the rando, join the AP After Dark Discord and visit our game channel there! You can also submit Issues here on GitHub, but they will typically get a slower response than the Discord channel.
No, the story and access progression is very similar to the vanilla game, but item randomization does change how you route through the areas after they are unlocked.
These are all activated by a trigger after leaving RPD 1 and fighting the G1 boss. So they won't be active when you first arrive at RPD.
