To resolve this error which occurs when running migrations using MariaDB

django.db.utils.ProgrammingError: (1064, "You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near 'None) NOT NULL, `amount` numeric(20, 2) NOT NULL, `charge_account_id` uuid NO...' at line 1")
