I'm a little leery of adding too many stty changes here, simply because unlike aliases they affect basically 100% of shell usage. Don't want to completely nuke the shell. |

I hear ya, but this one gave me a "WTF" moment even though I knew exactly what I had done. And as the comment suggests, it induces a condition that can be worked around, so it's an exceeding lightweight nuke. That said, your project, your choice. :) Thanks for sharing. |

If I didn't already have the one stty already in there I'd add this one in a heartbeat. I'm still deciding whether I want to add it anyway. :) |
