Deduction CSV File Format

CSV Heading: Category,Product,Due Date,Time Scale,Savings,Total Cost

  • Category - the general allocation the deduction belongs to
  • Product - the name of the specific thing being paid off
  • Due Date - the date this thing is do this can be one of the following
    1. This can be a single number that corresponds to a day of the month (ie: 9 is 9th of every month)
    2. This can be a single number corresponding to an hour of a day (ie: 9 is 9am and 13 is 1pm)
    • Side Note: This can be some added enhancement but is not implemented in the main feature. When the enhancement is made then this can be figured out and described in this page.
    1. This can be a month and day. For example, 12/15, which means this charge happens on December 15th
  • Time scale - this is how often the charge occurs
    • Time scale can be one of the following:
      • Monthly (Case i.)
      • Hourly (Case ii.) [Not implemented yet]
      • Yearly (Case iii.)
  • Savings - How much money has been accrued
  • Total Cost - The total amount of money that it costs for the time scale specified
    • For example if the Total Cost is 30 and Time Scale is Monthly and Due Date is 1. This means that every first of the month you need to pay $30.00.
