Yes! I think that we could kind of share one codebase and open source it. Then programmers would go to local schools, play that code and show to kids how fun it is. What I see today, is that kids usually have to leave their houses/schools in order to attend to bootcamps, programming lessons, etc and this is kind of hard, because it also depends on their parents. My idea is just to push information to them rather having them pull for it. The difficult part I see here is how to get people engaged to actually physically go to schools and show our things. Also, it needs to be sorted out with local schools to see if that's also possible. If the project grows big though, I would say that schools would be the ones contacting us to show up :) With a decent platform, we could have volunteers all over the world to attend pretty much the entire globe. What do you think? |
