Data Literacy Workshop

Resources from the Data Literacy Workshop presented by Code For Dayton at the Kettering Foundation's Dayton Democracy Summit in October 2025.

About the Workshop

This workshop was designed to help participants develop critical data literacy skills essential for informed civic participation and democratic engagement. The session covered how to evaluate data sources, detect misinformation, and effectively communicate data-driven stories.

📖 Story Structure Worksheet

A practical guide for structuring compelling narratives using data. This worksheet helps participants transform data insights into engaging, accessible stories that resonate with diverse audiences.
