I think the telephone receive pieces here also get too small at small icon size. I also think the shape needs to be simplified — right now it's 8KB when even our most complex existing event icons are only 4KB.

They're also a funky because they are part of the mechanism but don't have stickers. This is similar to some Kilominx puzzles, although we avoided that issue by having only 5 shapes for the Kilominx icon. We could consider trying to hide them or distinguish them in some other way (texture? hollow?). However, I think a solid shape is probably the most recognizable if it's thick enough.
