Getting Started

Prerequisites

• Visual Studio
• .NET SDK
• SQL Server
• Azure Account

Installation

1. Clone the Repository:

   git clone https://github.com/etrupja/CircleApp.git

2. Navigate to the Project Directory:

   cd CircleApp

3. Install Dependencies:

   dotnet restore

4. Set Up Database:
   • Update the appsettings.json with your SQL Server connection string.
   • Run the following command to apply migrations:

   dotnet ef database update

Running the Application

1. Build and Run:

   dotnet run

2. Open Your Browser and navigate to http://localhost:5000.

How To Use This Repository

The course is divided into parts, with each part having two branches:

• Branch Naming Convention: For each part (e.g., Part 20), there are two branches:
  • <part_number>b (e.g., 20b): Represents the beginning of the video tutorial for that part.
  • <part_number>e (e.g., 20e): Represents the end of the video tutorial for that part, including all changes made during the tutorial.
