HeatWave supports [the latest Visual Studio Long-Term Servicing Channel (LTSC)](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/productinfo/vs-servicing#long-term-servicing-channel-ltsc-support) and newer versions. If your Visual Studio is an older version than the latest LTSC version, HeatWave will fail to install. Upgrade your Visual Studio to install HeatWave.
