🎮 Single-Player Fighting Game | Developed during Code For All_ Bootcamp 1-week GameJam
This project was created as part of the Code For All_ Bootcamp GameJam, where participants had one week to design and develop a game from scratch. Our game is a single-player fighting game inspired by the bootcamp's teachers and facilities, combining simple graphics with engaging gameplay.
You can try out the game here.
The goal was to create a fun and challenging fighting game where players can battle against characters modeled after the bootcamp's teachers, each with unique moves and personalities. The game environment reflects different areas of the bootcamp, adding a familiar touch for participants.
- Playable Characters: Fight against various teachers.
- Multiple Levels: Battle across different bootcamp-themed environments, from the classroom to "Relvinha".
- Simple Graphics: Minimalist and retro-inspired graphics, using Java SimpreGraphicsGFX.
- Responsive Controls: Easy-to-learn controls, suitable for players of all skill levels.
- Game Engine: Java e Javac
The game draws inspiration from the community spirit of the bootcamp, turning the familiar environment and teachers into a fun and interactive experience. Our aim was to create a light-hearted game that resonates with fellow bootcamp participants.
- Code For All_ Bootcamp: For hosting the GameJam and fostering creativity among participants.
