- Updated the README with badges, `async/await` examples, and improved setup instructions. - Created a new `i2c-next.js` file that provides a promisified wrapper around the original callback-based API. - Renamed the package to `i2c-next` and updated the `package.json` accordingly. - Added a test file to verify the new promise-based API. - Addressed feedback from the code review.
