Description

This PR introduces a new documentation page for "Managing assets" under the "Manage your account" section. The purpose is to provide clear guidance for account owners, admins, and members on how to upload, manage, and utilize image assets (up to 2MB each) within their Knock account and notification templates.

The new page (content/manage-your-account/managing-assets.mdx) covers:

  • An overview of assets and user permissions.
  • Instructions for uploading assets, including file requirements.
  • Guidance on using asset URLs in notification templates.
  • Instructions for deleting assets and a warning about template impacts.
  • A frequently asked questions section.

The data/sidebars/platformSidebar.ts file has been updated to include this new page in the sidebar.

Wrapping the FAQ accordion components in an AccordionGroup for

Remove {" "} whitespace expressions and fix inconsistent indentation
in the FAQ section.

Assets are files that you upload to Knock for use in your notification templates. You can upload images to be hosted by Knock and reference them via URL in your templates. This is useful for including logos, icons, and other visual elements in your notifications.

Account owners, admins, and members can manage assets from the **Assets** page in the Knock dashboard's settings.

We may want to also update the roles and permissions page: https://docs.knock.app/manage-your-account/roles-and-permissions

Done. I've updated the roles and permissions page to:

  1. Added "assets" to the member role description
  2. Added a new row "Create and manage assets" to the permissions lookup table showing that owners, admins, and members can manage assets

The changes have been committed and pushed.
