I have made some changes specific to Rails 3.1 support in my fork. There's no urgency to this (other than whenever Rails 3.1 releases), and, as usual, I haven't had much luck getting your tests to cooperate on my Mac so I don't know if I broke anything.
But you may want to merge these changes into a Refinery 1.1-focused branch of your code.
The things that I knew were broken I fixed :)
