timer.sh

Clock and timer for terminal using figlet font.

Requirements

• figlet - to render nice ascii fonts

Optional

• lolcat - to add colors
• mpv - to play alarm sound
• dzen2 - to show notifications

Usage

Modify script according to your needs and then run it. Press Ctrl+C to exit.

Show clock:

timer.sh

Show timer:

timer.sh <time in minutes>

Modified fraktur font

You may also check a slightly modified fraktur ascii font with monospaced digits. Copy this file to where other figlet fonts are located (eg. /usr/local/share/figlet/).
