Introduction

BillMates simplifies the process of dividing costs among friends, roommates, or groups, allowing users to create shared expenses, add participants, split items, calculate individual and group expenses, and manage records through saving, searching, and sorting. It's perfect for keeping track of who owes what, making it easier to settle up with others.

Tools

BillMates was built using:

• Kotlin, Android SDK, Jetpack
• RoomDB for local database management
• Material Design 3 for UI/UX
• LeakCanary for memory leak detection
