still very much of a draft, got to implement/decide on the following still:
features/inputhelper)/bu add customorderutil/i'm waiting for 3 & 4 on whenever we have a pr with migration to resourcefulconfig
if you want i can break this pr onto a set of them, so this becomes just the shallow InputHelper class & derivatives, but no concrete feature whatsoever
